Welcome to the home page of the Reflexology Association of Illinois. Here you will find a wide range of information on reflexology and its practitioners in the state of Illinois. Just follow the links on the left to explore the website.

Reflexology is an art and science based on the premise that here are reflex areas in the feet, hands, and ears which correspond to all the glands, organs, structures, and systems of the body. The physical act of applying specific pressure using thumb, finger,various hand techniques and tools to these reflex areas will promote physiological changes in the body.

Reflexology is an ancient holistic healing technique. Reflexology is a drugless therapy that treats the whole body. Reflexology helps to bring our bodies into homeostasis, a state of balance.

Reflexology is not to be mistaken for a foot massage or any form of massage therapy. It has its own unique protocol and does not require the client to disrobe. Reflexology can complement any healthcare work.
